Just like last year, we will be doing a Hero workout, or a variation of a Hero workout, every day for the entire month of July during our regularly scheduled CrossFit classes. SWEAT will have their share of Hero workout variations as well.
As usual, every workout will be scalable to all skill and ability levels. Please do not be intimidated by this challenge. These workouts are intended to be performed with intense effort, in honor of our fallen Heroes. Don’t think of yourself. Instead think about the Hero that has given his or her all for our freedom.
Once again, we will be giving out limited edition, one time only CrossFit 563 Hero Month t-shirts and tanks to those that complete 20 or more of the Hero workouts during the month. Last year 18 was the requirement so we’ve upped the ante a little 🙂 You can earn yours by completing the workouts as prescribed or modified. In order to earn your shirt at the end of the month you must have logged into each class attended and recorded your result for each Hero workout completed. These shirts will not be for sale. They will be earned.
Here’s a look at the full month of Hero workouts planned for this month. Many of these are partner or team workouts, and can all be seen in the Wodify app. Remember, in order to earn get credit for each Hero workout completed and earn your Hero Month t-shirt or tank you must log a score for each workout.
